Welcome to TelepsychAI, a SAAS application designed for psychologists and their clients in Australia. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data.
For telehealth sessions where Session Review is available, the psychologist and client are asked separately for consent before transcription starts. Transcription starts only when both participants agree. If either participant declines, the video session can continue without transcription and no Session Review is generated.
For a consented session, Amazon Transcribe processes the session audio to create a timestamped transcript. TelepsychAI does not retain an audio recording for this feature. Amazon Bedrock processes the transcript to prepare an AI-generated review for the psychologist. These AWS services are configured to process Session Review data in the Sydney region, Australia (ap-southeast-2).
The transcript and review may contain sensitive health information. They are stored in AWS and encrypted at rest using AWS Key Management Service (KMS), and are transmitted through encrypted connections. Access is restricted to the authorised psychologist for that session; clients cannot access the psychologist's Session Review. The review is intended only as evidence-based material for the psychologist's reflection. It is not a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, psychologist score, or real-time coaching tool. Retention is covered by the Data Retention section of this policy.
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, ensuring its security both during transmission and while at rest. Our security practices include:
